Who’s to Blame? Copied FP Post #1 After Orlando

Just a response to the logic of this post:You Wern't The Gunman

You…

weren’t the rapist, but you didn’t do anything to change the sentencing laws. You      weren’t the rapist, but you haven’t signed a petition to get Judge Persky removed. You weren’t the rapist, but you allow women to get so drunk they pass out in an alley. You weren’t the rapist, but you didn’t teach Brock Turner to treat women with respect. You weren’t the rapist, but you were Brock Turner’s penis shoved inside his victim.

Can you see how utterly vacuous this sounds when not coupled with one’s anger? How does it make you feel when others blame you unjustifiably?

This…is why I get upset so easily and find it hard to forgive when people does wrong. Sometimes it’s just a small action, word, or sentence, that many might not take too seriously and might call me crazy. But I understand very well that it is those thoughts, actions, and words we do not pay attention to that will cause serious consequences later. Gunmen, dictators, murderers, rapists,… they don’t act out of any random reason. These serious actions came from the very root of hatred, racism, prejudice, and more. I think we need to pay close attention to the very thoughts of evil we have in our minds to not be turned into devils.
