Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” (II Tim. 2:19)
If you are getting this sinking feeling that the society around you is slowly but inexorably sliding away into something you do not recognize nor embrace, please realize that there is truly only one solid foundation on which to stand. The solution? Call upon the name of the Lord and make sure that your own life has and is not getting pulled down into the folly and wickedness of the world around you.
You need to hold on tight to something that will not let you down.
